Dial-up setup using Windows 95/98/98SE/ME
Step 1.Double-Click on My Computer.

Step 2.Double-Click on Dial-up Networking.

Step 3.If you get this screen click Next. If you don't, click on Make a new connection.

Step 4.Where it says Type a name for the computer you are dialing type in Storm. Make sure that your modem is selected where is says Select a device (windows automatically inserts your default dial-up device) and click Next.

Step 5.Enter the phone number that is local for you; being either Brockville(613-498-0674) or Ottawa(613-567-4068). Click Next.

Step 6.Click Finish.

Step 7.Click with your Right mouse button on Storm and then choose Properties from the drop-down menu.

Step 8. Uncheck Use area code and dialing properties. Click on the server types tab.

Step 9.Make sure that under Advanced Options only Enable software compression has a check. Under Allowed network protocols make sure that only Tcp/ip has a check. Click on Tcp/ip settings .

Step 10.Select Specify name server addresses by clicking in the circular radio button and type in the numbers as shown below. Click Ok, and then click Ok again in the exit window.

Step 11.Next double click on the Storm icon and enter your username and password. If you are a Storm client dialing the local Ottawa number or if you are a Superaje client dialing the local Perth/Brockville number, your username will be everything before the @ sign in your email address(Ex: If your email address was user@storm.ca, your username would be user). All others must use the complete email address as your username(Ex: If your email address was user@storm.ca, use the full email address as your username).
Once this information has been entered click connect.
