Highspeed setup using Mac OSX
Step 1.Click on the Apple Menu. Choose System Preferences.
Step 2.Click on the Network Icon.
Step 3.In the top Configure drop down menu choose Built-In Ethernet.
Step 4.In the lower configure drop down menu choose Using PPP.
Step 5.Click on the PPPoE Tab at the top and enter the following information.
Service Provider: | Storm Internet Services |
PPPoE Service Name: | Storm.ca |
Account Name: | Complete email address(stormuser@storm.ca) |
Password: | Your regular account password |
Step 6.Click the PPPoE Options button.
Step 7.Place a Check Mark in the Connect Automatically when starting TCP/IP applications and the Disconnect when user logs out options.
Step 8.Click on Save at the bottom right.
Step 9.To Connect:
Click on the Right-Left(<-->) arrow in the menu bar and click on Connect.
