 Publishing using Adobe Pagemill 3.0


  1. Once you have created the page, and it looks like you want it to, Click on the File menu, choose Upload, and choose Page
  2. You will get a message saying "Unable to find upload settings for this site. Create New site setttings?" - Choose OK
  3. The "New Site" Box will appear. Give your page a friendly name, and enter the location where the file is located on your computer, Click on Settings when you have entered this information



  4. For the Host Name, enter www.storm.ca and public_html for the remote folder name. The username and password(in lowercase) are the same as those used when you connect to Storm and check your e-mail. Leave the other settings on the remaining tabs at their defaults
    Press OK when you have finished



  5. When you return to the "New Site" box, choose Create. You will be asked for your password again.
  6. When the page is successfully uploaded, you will see a dialog box informing you of this.
  7. To view the page you just uploaded, Open your web browser and go to http://www.storm.ca/~username/filename.html
  8. Some final tips:

    • If you want the page to be the default page that people see, call it index.html
    • if you want the page in a subdirectory - change the Remote_Folder to public_html/subdirectory - where subdirectory is the name of the subdirectory
