Finally: an Enfield rifle for the 21st century!

AIA's new M10 series rifles blend the best features of the legendary SMLE (Short Magazine Lee Enfield) variants with the latest in high-tech engineering and modern manufacturing techniques. The resulting M10 rifles represent the ultimate evolution of the Enfield design: the tight tolerances and commensurate accuracy only precision computer-controlled machinery can deliver, the unsurpassed strength of forged steel, and the unmatched appeal of classic hand-rubbed oil-finished exotic wood. Are our M10 rifles the high-tech SMLE of the future or are they newly made masterpieces of a bygone era when steel, hardwood, and hand finishing were the cornerstone of the gunmaker's trade? The answer is 'yes!'

Not your Grandfather's Rifle

Though anyone who has owned and fired an army surplus Lee Enfield will immediately be familiar with the operation of the AIA M10 rifle, our rifles incorporate many technological innovations to improve the accuracy, reliability, and durability of the Lee Enfield design. The following is a list of features common to all AIA M10 series rifles.

Features Standard on All M10 Rifles

Heavily reinforced forged steel receiver:

All AIA M10 rifles feature a forged ordnance steel receiver built much thicker than the original Lee Enfield's to withstand heavy use with modern military spec 7.62x51mm ball ammunition.

Easily accommodates most rifle optics with optional weaver rail:

Another big improvement over surplus Lee Enfield rifles is the strengthening and thickening of the receiver bridge which, along with the receiver ring, is drilled and tapped for use with an optional steel weaver scope base.

10 round detachable box magazine with 'external' mag release:

M10 rifles use proprietary ten round magazines which are truly detachable thanks to a redesigned and repositioned mag release that's easier to use and doesn't require inserting one's finger into the trigger guard.

Match grade chrome-lined free-floated barrels on all models:

AIA M10 rifles are built for the serious service rifle shooter. No matter which model you choose, your rifle comes with a magna fluxed chrome-lined free-floated barrel with target crown - features most manufacturers charge big bucks for!

Adjustable headspacing via Brewer (aka. 'Savage') locking collar:

Changing the barrel and/or the headspacing on a surplus SMLE is a real pain because of barrel/sight indexing and the need to change bolt heads. Our M10 rifles have eliminated these headaches through using a non-indexed threaded sight block and a locking collar which makes changing and/or headspacing the barrel much easier (this should be done by a licensed gunsmith).

Threaded non-indexed front sight assembly w. adj. sight:

AIA's newly engineered front sight assembly is non-indexed, which makes installation and alignment after headspace adjustment a breeze. The M10's front sight is also fully adjustable for windage and elevation.

No.4-type flip aperture rear sight:

M10 rifles come with a No.4-type dual aperture sight whose mounting bracket is compatible with surplus Lee Enfield No.4 'ladder' type micrometer sights (not included). Standard M10 'flip sight' which comes standard on all AIA rifles is shown.

No.4 mk.II-type receiver-mounted trigger:

In blending the best features of various Lee Enfield rifle variants with technological innovations which didn't exist during the development of the venerable SMLE, the M10's trigger is mounted on the receiver, not the trigger guard. Note the heavy duty mag release in the accompanying photo.
