Router Setup Guide

This guide will provide instructions on performing some basic setup and configuration for your WiFi capable router. The guide is specific to TP-Link branded routers, but should be similar for most router brands.

Logging in to your router

In order to configure your router, you must first log in to the settings panel.

    1. Open a web browser such as Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Safari.
    2. Type http://192.168.0.1 OR http://tplinklogin.net into the address bar and then press Enter on your keyboard.
    3. If you haven’t changed the admin username and password of your router from their default values, enter “admin” into both the username and password fields. If you have changed these values, enter your personal administrative credentials.

Now that you are logged in, you may setup and configure your router.

Connecting to the internet (Wireless and DSL)

Our wireless and DSL customers will be given a username and password which must be used to connect to the internet.

    5. Click on save.
